I was responsible for designing the visual identity for a marketing campaign that centered around moms and Mother’s Day. The objective of the campaign was to raise awareness around one of the things that makes the Unbound program different from other sponsorship organizations -- our belief in moms. Campaign deliverables included digital ads, a landing page, a short video, social media posts as well as ads on social. Photos and footage from the field were the main component of each of these deliverables, but other design elements included a handwritten font that I chose to purchase and the triangle graphic I created. All of these elements were integrated across the entire campaign.
This was the spring 2018 edition of Unbound’s seasonal newsletter. The issue focused on our Mother’s group program in the field. I chose photos that highlighted the joy and pride these women have gained through their participation in the program. This eight-page publication was sent out to around 250,000 supporters and represented the first element of an entire Mother’s Day campaign.
The Winter 2017 edition of Unbound's bi-annual magazine, Living Unbound. I was tasked with the design and layout of the entire edition cover to cover, choosing all featured photos and creating all graphic elements. These images are a selection of a few of the final page layouts.
Conceptualized and designed set of three Christmas cards and campaign insert. The idea of photographing sponsored members hands open and extended was sent to field liaisons in Africa, Asia and Central America. After receiving and choosing the photos, another designer created the hand-lettered messaging featured inside the hands. I also decided to take existing brand patterns and recreate three new holiday patterns as extra design elements placed in the background of the cover photos and on the interior of the greeting cards. These specific items were mailed to sponsors to say thank you and encourage year-end donations.
This is the Fall 2017 edition of Unbound’s Impact newsletter. This publication focused on the realities sponsored members face when it comes to their living conditions. Even though we have many photos from the field to show these realities, I chose to illustrate them graphically for this issue. I created both of the featured landscapes by scanning initial drawings I had done into Illustrator then continued to develop them from there digitally.
Designed set of bookmarks requested by internal client to be sent as thank-yous to current donors.
Redesign of T-shirts requested by an internal client. These shirts were used to encourage membership in an outreach effort that raised scholarship funds by participating in athletic competitions.
A new banner for conferences and expos was also requested so an outdoor photoshoot was organized where I took photos featuring the shirts, in addition to carrying out the full design of the banner.
Redesign of Ambassador Toolkit materials which included a folder, handbook and trifold 4x6 mailer. Our in-house client wanted less of an emphasis on photography so I focused on layering our brand patterns in new ways to add dimension to the design. I chose to create some small-scale illustrations for the pieces as well.
